Would ELIQ work in my home?
|
|
ELIQ was designed for houses, but can be used in many apartment buildings as well.
There are two requirements for ELIQ to work satisfactory.
- You need to have a digital electric meter. This is becoming a standard in Europe as per EU regulations and in many countries, most of the old meters have already been replaced.
- The electricity meter needs to be within about 10 m (35 ft) from where you want to keep the touchscreen. If you live in an apartment, you can ask your landlord or janitor where your electricity meter is located.
ELIQ is released on the Swedish market in September 2010. The interface is at this point only available in Swedish, but a multi-language interface will be available. Contact Exibea under the tab Support for further information.

Compatible electric meters
ELIQ is compatible with most modern electric meter. If you've had a new electric meter installed during the past decade, there is a good chance that ELIQ will work just fine. The key requirement is that the meter has a blinking pulse diod (visible or invisible). If you would like to know if your type of electric meter would work with ELIQ, please contact Support.
